Ventilation of clean, air disinfection is now critical for indoor safety, now and for the future. OTSAW’s U-VC modules have been lab tested to prove 99.9% disinfection efficacy within a 2.5 meter range and can be installed within air conditioning and ventilation systems.
AirGuard UV-C modules are integrated within air conditioning ducts to disinfect the air circulated indoors, inactivating viruses and bacteria by means of ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI).
Small and easy to install in most ducts, minimal modification is required to retrofit the modules in existing HVAC systems. Additional sensors can monitor for temperature, airflow and overall air quality.
By using UV-C LED technology, it is 70% more energy efficient as compared to conventional mercury lamps. In addition, it is friendly to humans as it is much safer and non-cancerous to human skin as compared to conventional mercury lamps that emits harmful UV-A and UV-B radiation.
